(Washington, DC)  –  A new study says one out of five Nevada children are affected by foreclosures.  The report by the advocacy group First Focus says being forced out of a home can affect a child’s health, development and progress in school. Nineteen percent of children in the silver state have been touched by foreclosure. Nevada leads the nation in the study, followed by Florida, Arizona, California and Michigan.
