Kids’ Share 2014 is the seventh annual analysis of federal spending and tax investments in children and families. This year’s Kids’ Share report, led by Urban Institute researcher Heather Hahn, projects that, unless Congress changes course, less than 2¢ of every additional federal dollar spent over the next decade will be invested in children.The report was commissioned by First Focus and produced by the Urban Institute with support from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
