Lauren Lamb (Former Staff) Senior Director

Lauren Lamb serves as the Senior Director for Grassroots Advocacy at First Focus on Children, where she is building a network of highly engaged Ambassadors for Children.

Prior to joining First Focus, Lauren served as the Campaign Manager for Baltimore City Councilman Zeke Cohen. She coordinated a broad network of volunteers, managed a 7-person field team, and shifted to a fully virtual campaign strategy in the spring of 2020. The re-election campaign resulted in a 32-point victory for Zeke Cohen in Baltimore’s Democratic primary.

Previously, Lauren worked as a teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools, where she taught ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) at the high school level for three years. She also worked with Baltimoreans for Educational Equity and Strong Schools Maryland to advocate for increased state-level education funding and equitable wraparound services. Lauren is an alumna of Teach for America, and she earned a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University in 2018.
