Earlier today, the House Appropriations Committee released the Committee Report to accompany the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Labor HHS Education Appropriations bill. The report provides additional details about the bill, including report language that provides committee’s recommendations for the agencies. Last week’s blog highlighted several programs in the bill that are important to children. On Wednesday, June 24, the full House Committee on Appropriations will mark up the bill. It is unclear when the full House will take up the spending measure.
