BN-IT963_0609NE_P_20150605142751A story in Tuesday’s edition of the Wall Street Journal highlighted the work of the Pediatric Trials Network to determine the safest, most effective doses and regimens for existing drugs on kids, instead of new uses.  According to the article, this research project, funded by the National Institutes of Health, has involved about 3,500 children in the trials at some 90 locations in the U.S., primarily children’s hospitals.
