1 in 4 children in the United States has an immigrant parent, and close to a million children in the United States are undocumented. In the past few years, several states have expanded access to health care coverage for children regardless of immigration status, recognizing that access to health care is key to children’s well-being. During this webinar, advocates from 5 states (California, Colorado, Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts) will discuss the campaigns to expand health coverage to all children, lessons learned in advocating for and implementing expanded coverage, and what is left to do on the state and federal level to ensure all children have access to comprehensive health care.
