As part of National Latino Children’s Institute’s annual El Día de los Niños celebration, NLCI is hosting a luncheon briefing on the “Status of Latino Children in the US.” NLCI will recognize Senator Bob Melendez (D-NJ) for his unyielding support in assuring the passage of the El Día de Los Niños Senate Resolution and his commitment to children. A panel of experts will provide current data and trends on the well-being of Latino children and engage Latino leaders and children’s advocates on the importance of investing in this rapidly growing population.
