Outlook for Children’s Policy under the New Administration 

Bruce Lesley is the President of First Focus, a nonpartisan advocacy organization dedicated to making children and families the priority in federal policy and budget decisions. With more than 25 years of public policy experience, Mr. Lesley has worked on health care, education, human services, and immigration issues in several different capacities on Capitol Hill, and on health and human services policy on county and state levels of government. Following the presentation, Carla Robinson, Editor-in-Chief of Child’s World NEWS, will discuss his talk and the implications for the local community with Mr. Lesley and Donna Cooper, Executive Director, Public Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY).
