CHIP Letter to Congress_Page_011,200 leading national, state, tribal, and local organizations concerned about the health and well-being of America’s children and pregnant women, wrote to Congressional leaders urging them to take action in the upcoming lame duck session to provide continued funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Congress must act this year to stabilize the CHIP funding stream to ensure that states can continue to operate their programs without interruption. Health coverage for millions of children could be disrupted if CHIP’s future is not secured.

An updated letter to Congress was sent on Feb. 26, 2015.
